So you have read a thousand tutorials, and made some cool stuff, but have you harnessed your photoshop powers to help your wallet? If you are not ready to jump into full fledged freelancing, then you should consider this, contests. Yes, contests. There are TONS of photoshop contests on the internet, some only pay a few bucks, some can fetch you several hundred dollars. If your good with photoshop, doing contests full time can bring you in steady income every month.

So, what kind of contests are these? Well, there are many different types, some sites have contests set up just for fun image manipulations, some have contests set up by professional business, that rake in serious cash, and some contests are run on forums, by users needing some simple work done, like logos. The great part in my opinion about these contests is that it makes you feel less obligated, which can make you pull your hair out with freelancing, having a customer ask for his 57'th revision is no fun at all, with these contests, your free to stop when you like!
